Hello, I'm Heather Dewar and I am so glad you are here! Therapy inspires hope and change, and I view our time together as a collaborative process where we are able to identify patterns, build upon strengths, and develop tools to promote growth and healing. By providing a safe, non-judgmental space, I encourage my clients to share their stories and process difficult emotions at their own pace.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in a corporate setting and became increasingly aware that external markers of success may not always reflect an internal sense of joy or contentment. I wanted to connect with others on a deeper level and affirm they are being seen and heard as they cope with all facets of life. Since following my passion of becoming a therapist, I have found my experiences as a professional, a wife, and a mother to be invaluable as I sit with clients struggling in their own phase of life. I am honored to walk alongside my clients and encourage them to find their own voice as they explore and understand the unique narratives that have shaped their lives.
